RECENT SAMPLES, COLLECTED FROM MULTIPLE LOCATIONS, HAVE TESTED POSITIVE FOR COLIFORM.\u00a0 TOTAL COLIFORM BACTERIA ARE GENERALLY NOT HARMFUL THEMSELVES .\u00a0 COLIFORMS ARE BACTERIA \u00a0WHICH ARE NATURALLY PRESENT IN THE ENVIRONMENT AND ARE AN INDICATOR THAT A PROBLEM IS DEVELOPING.<\/p>\n<p>TO ELIMINATE ANY RISK OF CONTAMINATION THE ENTIRE SYSTEM WILL BE TREATED WITH CHLORINE \u00a0BEGINNING FRIDAY DECEMBER 9, 2011. \u00a0CHLORINE WILL BE INTRODUCED INTO THE SYSTEM AT A VERY LOW CONCENTRATION. SOME PEOPLE MAY NOTICE A SLIGHT ODOR. IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE OVERALL CONCENTRATION OF CHLORINE WILL BE LOWER THAN OTHER COMMUNITIES MAINTAIN IN THEIR SYSTEMS ON A DAILY BASIS.
