The monthly meeting of the Board of Water Commissioners was held at the office at 5 PM with all members present including Superintendent Chris Wiseman and Prudential committee member Amy Kates.<\/p>\n
The October minutes were approved.<\/p>\n
The warrants were signed.<\/p>\n
Coliform testing results were \u201c0\u201dfor October.<\/p>\n
Dan Gallagher, a representative from Open Cape Public Safety Backup System Company arrived to discuss the future of fiber optics.\u00a0 His presentation involved the installation of a microwave antenna on the Main Street tank. He exited at 6:30.<\/p>\n
The following information was included in the Superintendent\u2019s report:<\/p>\n
PUMPAGE<\/span> <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n October Pumpage \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 2011 -11,536,000\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>2010 – 13,239,000<\/p>\n \u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026Three services were replaced, one on Main Street and two\u00a0 on Ocean View Avenue.<\/p>\n \u2026\u2026…\u2026One fire suppression system was installed<\/p>\n \u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026The Newtown Road tank was taken off line for painting repairs.<\/p>\n Discussion was held on the updated well field roadway paving specs.<\/p>\n The status of the mid-year budget was discussed.<\/p>\n Mr. Kiely informed the Board that Attorney McLaughlin will be forwarding a new draft of the 671 Main Street easement, after Mr. Kiely found that some corrections were necessary.<\/p>\n Discussion continued on updating the personnel policy.
