A special meeting of the Board of Water Commissioners was held at the office at 3 PM with all members present, except Mr. Calise. Superintendent Chris Wiseman, Dan Gallagher, the rep. for Open Cape Fiber Optics and Sean O\u2019Brien, Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for Barnstable County were also present.<\/p>\n
The Open Cape Fiber Optics proposal was discussed at length.<\/p>\n
Mr. Barnicle made a motion to enter into a license agreement with Open Cape Corp. to install antennas on the Santuit tank to assist with the 700 MHZ public safety communications system. Mr. Kiely seconded the motion and it was so voted.<\/p>\n
The meeting adjourned at 4:15 pm..<\/p>\n
