Today members of the Cotuit Fire Department came t Today members of the Cotuit Fire Department came together for a Mission, Vision, and Values Workshop. It was a great chance for us to talk about who we are as a department, what we stand for, and how we can keep improving the service we provide to the Cotuit community. A big thank you to Parow Consultants for guiding us through the process and helping us put our ideas into action. We’re looking forward to sharing the results with the Board of Fire Commissioners at their next meeting — and even more excited to put these principles into practice every day in service to our community. #cotuit #cotuitma #pffm #townofbarnstable #dfs #massdfs
Where one day ahead of #NationalDogDay, but Captai Where one day ahead of #NationalDogDay, but Captain Staggs and Chief Brown assisted a local resident with rescuing their trapped dog. The pup accessed a confined area underneath a deck where the harness became stuck on the joists. After digging out a small area they were able to access the pup and remove the harness. She was returned safely to the embrace of her owner.

These are a great opportunity to learn about the project to date, and to have any questions you may have answered.
The Cotuit Fire Department has been notified that The Cotuit Fire Department has been notified that our grant application for the second round of the Firefighter Safety and Equipment Grant had been approved and that we would receive an award of $1,863.00. Based on this award the Department will be able to purchase a new rescue saw which will replace an aged saw on E265.

Capt. Staggs, FF Deeg, and Paul Kispert display a Capt. Staggs, FF Deeg, and Paul Kispert display a handmade American flag. Paul, a retired trauma surgeon, crafted the flag himself. He and his wife, Maureen, donated the flag to the Cotuit Fire Department, where it will be proudly displayed at the fire station.
