Chief Walter “Spike” Dottridge

The Cotuit Fire Department regrets to announce the passing of Chief Walter “Spike” Dottridge.  Chief Dottridge served the Cotuit Fire District for over 40 years, serving as Chief of the department for 8 years, retiring in 1985.  Spike also worked for the State Forestry Department during WW2.  Details on services to honor the memory of Chief Dottridge will be provided when available.  Out thoughts and condolences go out to his family, and all those mourning his loss.

Attention Canoe, Kayak, & Rowboat Owners!

Do you own a canoe, kayak, or rowboat that is stored on private property?

 If so, please contact us to obtain a vessel identification sticker.  These stickers are free of charge, and give us a method for contacting you should your vessel become lost or missing.  If you would like one of these complimentary stickers, please contact the Cotuit Fire Department directly via: info@cotuitfire.org or by calling (508) 428-2210.

PLEASE NOTE:
