Attention Canoe, Kayak, & Rowboat Owners!

Do you own a canoe, kayak, or rowboat that is stored on private property?

 If so, please contact us to obtain a vessel identification sticker.  These stickers are free of charge, and give us a method for contacting you should your vessel become lost or missing.  If you would like one of these complimentary stickers, please contact the Cotuit Fire Department directly via: info@cotuitfire.org or by calling (508) 428-2210.  

Stickers are available for pickup at the Cotuit Fire Station, located @

PLEASE NOTE:

If you store your vessel on public property such as a town way to water, public landing, or beach – you are required to obtain a small vessel decal from the Barnstable Harbor Master.  These decals are required Per Chapter 430 § 430-2 of the Barnstable code – Regulation of vessels on Town ways to water, landings and beaches.  For more information please click the link below, or contact the Barnstable Harbor Master @ (508) 790-6273

9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

Please join us for a Remembrance Ceremony at The Cotuit Fire Department, located at 64 High Street Cotuit on this coming Monday, September 11. The schedule is below:
8:55 a.m. Apparatus roll out of bays to appropriate location in front of station
9:00 a.m. All available fire department personnel and any guests assemble at attention in front of apparatus and maintain silence.
Ring Bell 5 -5 -5 -5 (4 sets of 5 chimes each)
Lower station flag to half-mast – 1 minute of complete silence
Prayer by Rev. Robert Naylor, followed by the Firefighter’s prayer.
