NOTICE TO RESIDENTS NEAR THE COTUIT FIRE STATION
Residents in the area of the Cotuit Fire Station may experience temporarily discolored water today while work is underway to install and pressurize a new fire suppression line.
The work may disturb naturally occurring sediment in the water mains, which can cause water to appear cloudy or discolored. If you notice discoloration, we recommend avoiding laundry and limiting hot water use until the water clears, as sediment can be drawn into your washing machine or hot water tank.
Once the work is complete, run cold water from a faucet until it runs clear.
