We are still flushing along Old Post Road today.
Month: June 2011
Breakfast Visitors
Look who stopped by for breakfast! Turkeys have been seen in increasing numbers around Cotuit. They often travel in flocks and we were happy to see that they decided to pay a visit to the Water Department.
Flushing Old Post Rd Today
The Water Department will be flushing along Old Post Rd. today.
Flushing Putnam and Captains Roads
The Water Department will be flushing Putnam Ave and the Captains roads for the next couple of days.
CPR Classes Offered Through Fire Department
The Cotuit Fire Department will be offering CPR classes during the summer and fall. Chief Olsen would like anyone interested in signing up for a class to contact him so that he can set up a schedule based on demand in the community.
You may send him an email (colsen@cotuitfiredistrict.org) or call the Fire Department (508-428-2210) and ask to speak to Joan, the department secretary. She will compile the list and contact people who are interested as classes are formed.
Welcome to the new Cotuit Fire District Web Site
Welcome to the new Cotuit Fire District web site. Our goal is to provide complete and timely information for residents of Cotuit on all matters relating to the district.
To begin the process of creating a long-term, searchable archive, we have posted older documents, matching the original publication date where possible.
Here are some of the new features:
- Online archive of meeting minutes, agendas, and budgets available in a PDF form for convenient reading or printing
- Complete contact information for all elected officials
- Social media including Twitter feeds and Facebook updates
- Subscribe options so that users can be automatically alerted to new posts
- Lots more pictures of Cotuit
Please take time to explore each section of our web site. We look forward to serving our residents by providing timely information.
