Not all items listed may in fact be discussed and other items not listed may in fact be discussed and other items not listed may also be brought up for discussion to the extent permitted by law. It is possible that if it so votes, the Committee may go into executive session. The Committee may also act on items in an order other than they appear on this agenda.  Persons interested are advised, that in the event any matter taken up at the meeting remains unfinished at the close of the meeting, may be put off to a continued session of this meeting, and with proper notice.

Prudential Committee

Prudential Committee meetings are conducted in compliance with the Massachusetts Open Meeting Law (M.G.L. Chapter 30A, Sections 18-25).

 For meetings of the Prudential Committee, there shall be a reasonable period of time for public comment prior to the Committee commencing its discussions and deliberations. The public does not participate in Committee discussions/deliberations.

No person shall address a meeting of a public body without permission of the chair, and  all persons shall, at the request of the chair, be silent. No person shall disrupt the proceedings of a meeting of a public body. If, after clear warning form the chair, a person continues to disrupt the proceedings, the chair may order the person to withdraw from the meeting and if the person does not withdraw, the chair may authorize a constable or other officer to remove the person from the meeting.”
