Thank you all for your patience today. Your feedback has been invaluable in helping us to isolate and resolve the water clarity issues in the district.
We have been able to reinstate a clean flow of water in most areas around Main Street, Putnam Avenue, Old Post Road and Cotuit Bay Shores. Residents should now be noticing an improvement in water clarity. We are still actively flushing (low-flow) to continue to clear out some areas.
Please remember to run only COLD water to check your water clarity. If after 3 to 5 minutes of continuous flow you are still experiencing dirty water please contact the Water Department. Our on-call staff is available 24/7 by calling 508-292-8755 should you experience issues after 4:30pm. We will also continue to monitor the department email (jen@cotuitwater.org). Please be sure to provide your address, contact phone number and time of incident so that we can resolve your issue more efficiently.
